Wink at the Sphinx – A Night of Chaos, Camels, and Catastrophes
Picture this: a princess with attitude, a physician with secrets, a parrot that won’t shut up, and a show packed with so much fun that tickets should come with a disclaimer.
This is Wink at the Sphinx – the Ingham Theatre Group’s latest Theatre Restaurant production, and it’s about as subtle as a sandstorm in a souvenir shop.
Set in ancient Egypt – or at least, something vaguely resembling it – this original comedy is packed with villains, visionaries, and enough plot twists to make your head spin. There are tunes. There are tantrums. And there’s a genie who knows things but just can’t get a grasp on it.

Details for the brave:
- Dates: August 15, 16, 22, 23, 28, 29 & 30
- Venue: Ingham Bowls Club – dressed up like the Nile met a costume trunk
- Tickets: Now available at Barnes Sewing Centre, Lannercost Street
This isn’t just theatre. It’s a night of utter chaos, served table-side. Expect to be part of the action. Expect to laugh. Expect the unexpected. And maybe bring a friend to blame when things go sideways.
Wink at the Sphinx – bold, bizarre, and brilliantly bonkers. Book your tickets before they vanish like a pyramid scheme.
